About

I am a visual artist and poet with more than 40 years of experience in painting.

Growing up in Venezuela, I studied oil painting with A. Carrizo, sculpture with F. Fajardo, and colour techniques with Luis Cuevas at the School of Art Neptali Rincon.

I began writing poetry in my twenties and published my poetry book Ella in 2007, while also sharing paintings and poems through @poesiaypintura.

From 2012 to 2017 I took part in the collective exhibition SUBASTARTE, in support of the HEP Hospital in Maracaibo.

Since moving to the United States in 2021 I have kept working: assisting with murals, painting in abstract acrylic, and presenting my individual showcase, Felines Gazes.
