Terms and Conditions

These terms cover every order placed through this site. Placing an order means you accept them.

The work. Every painting listed here is an original made by hand, and there is only ever one of it. A piece marked sold is gone; a piece with no price is available on request, and the price is agreed with you before anything is charged.

Prints. Fine art prints are produced to order from the original painting. Colour varies slightly between screens and paper, and small variations between prints of the same image are part of the process rather than a defect.

Prices and payment. Prices are in US dollars. Payment is taken at checkout through Stripe, which handles the card details — this site never sees or stores them. Shipping is calculated from the size of what you ordered and shown before you pay.

Shipping. Orders are packed and dispatched within ten business days. Originals travel crated and prints travel rolled in a tube. Delivery dates given by the carrier are estimates, not guarantees, and once a parcel is handed over the carrier's timetable is the one that applies.

Damage in transit. If a piece arrives damaged, write within seven days of delivery with photographs of the work and of the packaging it came in. A damaged piece is replaced where it can be, and refunded where it cannot.

Returns. Prints may be returned unused and in their original packaging within fourteen days of delivery for a refund of the price paid, less return shipping. Originals and any commissioned work are sold final: there is one of each, and it leaves the studio for you.

Copyright. Copyright in every image on this site stays with the artist. Buying a painting or a print buys the object, not the right to reproduce it — no copying, printing, or commercial use without written permission.
